   Guitarist and
bassist needed for (Manassas, Virginia) progressive rock band, the final
lineup for which will be one guitarist, one keyboardist, one bassist
and one drummer.

You must be skilled, but you must also be VERSATILE. A solid foundation
in progressive rock or at least familiarity with
and ability to play progressive rock is required.

A familiarity with good metal would also be great. This could be
anything from older Metallica to King Diamond to Black Sabbath to
Celtic Frost to Arcturus to Pain of Salvation to black metal to
progressive metal to thrash to, well, let's just say anything good.

Prog and metal are the main things, but the more versatile you are in your listening and in your playing, the better.

Must be able to commit to practices and gigs.

Must be able to jam.

NO DRUG ADDICTS OR ROCK STARS. This is a band for musicians who love to
create and play original music, not for those who want to be famous or
cool. On the other hand, pretentious w**kers will also not be
tolerated. And you have to be a relatively civil person. There is no
age requirement; if you are skilled, tasteful, have a good musical
foundation and do not drive us nuts with your behavior, it doesn't
matter what your age is.

Since we are still only a keyboardist and a drummer, we have not
developed a style yet - and this is quite an open-ended project, so an
open mind is good.
