While Fripp may contribute much to the soundscapes, it - to me - sounds, compositionally, much more a David Sylvian record. Fripp and Sylvian's association goes back to, I think, Sylvian's 1984 Alchemy and Index of Possibilities mini-album and Fripp was

Maybe it would have confused KC afficiandos that are used to Belew. Or Fripp thought it wasn't 'Crim' enough. I think it's more ambient and less eclectic than most Crimson stuff.

Whatever name Fripp wants to put on it, it remains a fantastic alb

Shouldn't this really be a King Crimson release?
