I don't think there's too much chance of Riverside or Pineapple Thief getting lucky on this one. I could be wrong though.

They might be out because they are already on tour w/ Blackfield, but if not they're one of my top 3 choices. The other two being Riverside, and Pineapple Thief. Edited by Gravity Eyelids - December 10 2006 at 20:15 |

Thanks Tony,
Even if the album is pushed back 2 weeks it's still not bad, as long as it's not 2 months.
And rather than starting a new topic I'll post this here: On PT's myspace blog their taking suggestions for opening bands for their tour starting in April!:
"Please let us know if you have any suggestions for a band or artist that could open for Porcupine Tree on their next European tour, starting in April 2007. Post a response below if you do. Thanks!"

According to French Website "Heavy Music Webzine" which is regarded as a "reliable source" the new Porcupine Tree album is slated for release on the 16th April 2007.
http://heavymusic.free.fr/heavymusic2/accueil.php Simon Clarke who is responsible for the brilliant PT fanzine Carbon Nation and is close to the PT camp believes this to be entirely reasonable and consistent with what he has heard on the grapevine. However, Deadwing ended up being released two weeks late, but well 16th April!! Let the party begin... Thanks to Simon and the excellent PT Forum for the heads up. PT FORUM |
