I don't know for sure how it sounds, but I wouldn't expect too good sound from a no-name turntable costing £120.

a good idea, though i would rather spend the money on an M-Audio audiophile soundcard with RCA input, about £60 on ebay (if you have a desktop pc, of course), and connect an audiophile quality deck into it. haven't tried it yet but on my list of things to do during Christmas hols.

Bear in mind that you can buy a decent USB sound card for less money and then you can record any analogue source to your PC/Laptop. I bought one of these because my laptop doesn't have a line level input and the on-board sound cards aren't very good anyway.
Just use the tape out connections on your amplifier and record anything that you are listening to, even the radio to listen to later. |

Compared to what I have now to spin my records on, It would be audiophile quality.

USB turntable
Hardly an audiphile-quality turntable, but a pretty easy way to get vinyl records onto the computer. I haven't tried it myself (and I'm not really interested), but I thought it was kind of funny, and that it could be of interest to some of you. |
