Wondered if this poll was for just for a laugh...
Fantasia is incredible. Dumbo is a tool.

I love dumbo more- he is very exciting, intresting and funny, I love it as a kid, and I still love it. |
Why does it have no votes then?

Of course Fantasia, but I feel like voting for Dumbo. You know, give the little critter a chance.

To an extent probably. He was in competition with many jews in Hollywood. He certainly was conservative and virulently anti-Communist. His company paid substandard animator wages, and when there was a strike he reputedly blamed it on the Communist Conspiracy -- as Marxists say, always look for the economic motive. I'm none too pleased with his involvement with the HUAC -- big name dropper. Anyway, I far prefer Fantasia. Night on Bald Mountain is beautifully spooky.

Saw Fantasia Two at the London IMAX cinema, a film which took some of the 1940's footage and imaxed it and also new footage made specifically for IMAX, and frankly I was most disappointed. Strangely enough saw the third Harry Potter film there asa special showing - a film not made for IMAX, but it worked a treat.
Once saw the original Fanatasia at the local flea pit on a Wednesday afternoon - bad experience with a cinema full of mums explaining loudly to crying 4 year olds what the film was about. Definitely not a prog moment.

On a progressive music site, no other Disney movie stands a chance against "Fantasia."

I remember a day back in school. A teacher caught us drawing... well, you know, this 8==D... in the bathroom. He gave as a lecture about how we were supposed to be as teenagers. He said "Everyone draws Walt Dysneys on the bathroom walls at your age...". I guess it (again: 8==D) has some similarities with Mickey Mouse's nose. I'll never forget that pet name.
Leaving that for another topic, Fantasia features Stravinsky and Mussorgsky, wich makes it a great movie for kids to watch. You'll never see that level of abstract contents on kids movies again. I still think TRON is the best Disney film. It is funny to watch the posters of Disney productions and see that electro-pop blue guy in the middle of the rest of the characters.
