All done. Thanks, andu.
As the original album cover and so many Web sites give the title as "Cantofabule" rather than "Cantafabule", I have put the title as Cantofabule (Cantafabule) in the ProgArchives data base, so that people searching for either title can find it. |

it is only now that i see that in the PA the name used for "cantAfabule" album is incorrectly put as "cantOfabule". as i said, this was an error due to the record house, you can ckeck that i am right on the discography page of the official site here: http://www.transsylvania-phoenix.de/ro/discold.html |

i've done some further research for phoenix, concerning the album cover images. the cover for "Mugur de fluier" is correct; it was displayed both on the vynil disc cover and the cd re-issue. for "Cei ce ne-au dat nume", the correct image, that was originally displayed on the vynil disc cover, is this: . the image on the re-issue cd was a reinterpretation of this original. the yellow cover that you have never appeared on any official issue, as can be seen on the official web site, though the images are there in black/white. for "Cantafabule", the original vynil disc cover image is this: . The image you have was published only on the cd-reissue cover. regarding the album name: on the vynil cover i provided the name was incorrectly wrote as "Cantofabule", but it was only a error by the recordhouse, so don't worry, it really is the original cover.

i was checking the bio for Phoenix, the greatest Romanian rock band ever (http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_BAND.asp?band_id=1586) and i was really disturbed by the band-photo shown there. it is not only irrelevant, but has nothing to do with the classic line-up of the progressive Phoenix of the 70's; the photo is taken somewhen in the 80s, when what was left of the band (which was to re-form in the 90s) was sinking into kitsch. only hardcore fans of Phoenix are able to listen (not to enjoy, thugh) to that stuff. the image that really should be there is this one, showing the actual line-up that issued the masterpiece "Cantafabule"; it was also published on the cd inner booklet (don't known whether it was also displayed on the original vynil cover):
