Absolutely!

I've just discovered AS THE WORLD, and I was completely blown away by it.

Everybody compares them to Gentle Giant (a band I love), but Echolyn's vocal harmonies are better. Undoubtedly the best in prog since the 1970s, and maybe even the best ever. Wonderful!!!

I wonder, why many prog-Yes fans so dislike their 80s era or Talk. Their vocal harmonies are even stronger than on their classic records. Anderson-Rabin-Squire trio proves many  mind-blowing vocal showcases.

I may be redundant, but Gentle Giant always has interestingly amazing harmonies..

Every vocalist on The Human Equation by Ayreon had superb harmonies at some point or another on the album

The harmonies on Devin Townsend's "Terria", particularly the middle section of "The Fluke" and parts of "Earth Day" are great

and of course, Yes always have great harmonies, as mentioned before, especially on CTTE

I can strangle a canary in a tin can and it would be really original, but that wouldn't save it from sounding like utter sh*t.

Klaatu - check out the 3:47 E.S.T. & they give you the whole enchilada of harmonies, from the Beatles & Moody Blues melancholy on Calling Occupants, to the Beach Boys pop barbershop harmonies on California Jam, to a Paul Macca multi-dub on Sub Rosa Subway, or the Lennon wall of vocals on Dr Marvello, this album carries the title.

The kings, the first, and the ones who probably influenced more than half the bands mentionned here : The Beach Boys.

Shadow Gallery have some impressive harmonies - it might all be Mike Baker's multi-tracking but it sounds wonderful. I would add that Mike Baker has a fantastic voice - good range, powerful and, unlike many prog vocalists, can hit every note he attempts! (Please take note Pendragon, Mostly Autumn and The Tangent!!!)

Vocal harmonies are great, i personally love Queenīs harmonies in the majority of their songs, taking Bohemian Rhapsody as the main example.

I havenīt heard Kevin Gilbertīs albums that often, but if im not wrong there are some vocal harmonies in his songs, and sounds pretty good!
