You know even if we move The Mars Volta to prog metal, the prog metal section will still be missing an equally metal band, Yes.

You must be joking! TMV are NOT prog-metal by any means - and, BTW, before you barge in giving orders to everyone, make sure you understand the definition of Art Rock first. This subgenre is where eclectic, hard-to-categorise bands and artists are put, and TMV fit into that category quite perfectly.
