Topic: Freddie Mercury's 60th birthday! Posted: September 19 2006 at 02:27 |
Truly a great voice. I like their "Innuendo" song, sadly they just did quite much light party / pop rock music, which made them popular.

I was reading the news yesterday, and according to a lot of Muslims in Zanzibar(where he was born) they still fail to recognise him as a national hero.
Hopefully in time they will all realize just what a great national treasure he truly was

The world became a slightly duller place the day that Freddie died, and the UK lost a national treasure. If there is an afterlife, there's going to be a truly amazing party to celebrate this milestone.

He was a legend if you like it or not, and he always stole the show when he performed live. We miss you!

Hmmm. Can't help but say that I never got into his style of singing or writing. And his lifestyle was questionable too. I guess it caught up with him.

Today the legendary musician would've turned 60...
There has been a lot of discussions in the past about Queen being in progarchives,
and whether they are or not, I DON'T CARE! Their music is still great, filled with emotions and a passion about life that I would like to have..
I'm gonna give my Queen records a couple of spins
