David Palmer's sex change is soooo hideously unsuccessful,but they mostly are,aren't they? But the interesting question is: Can you name the woman he's sitting next to in the first photo? Very well known to some,completely unknown to many....

Well then let me fill you in on Jayne County.  When I first came to NYC with ELP in 1974, they took me to a famous rock club - Maxs Kansas City.  When ELP left.. I went to Maxs every night.. its were everyone in the rock world hung out at that time...

Jayne (or Wayne as he known then) used to play upstairs at Maxs.  His drummer at the time was Marky Bell, later to be known as Marky Ramone; but he had a bass player named Elliott Michaels... who looked a little like Greg.  So you can imagine that I got to know the band pretty well... heck I turned 18 at a party thrown by them and the NY Dolls...
