No more ELP Bashing, 3f8s, I promise. I respect them as a band, and would, and indeed do fight their corner against many a snearing non-progger, but just between us, I was always a bit more of a Yes-man when it comes to symphonic prog.

"From the Beginning", is still one hell of a beautifull track. This may be just a nostalgia thing, but I doubt it.......OK, they rule!

(Told you I was a Yes-man)

Happy New Year, Emdiar, where you been hiding?

Hi Reed Lover, and a Happy New Year to you and all. I've been a bit of a cyber-recluse of late, due to a major building project at chez Em, most of which I'm doing myself. It's not finished yet (by a long chalk) so don't expect a return to my previous posting form for a while. nice to know someone noticed I'd gone.

You must post a piccy of your efforts upon completion emdair

Is it a new wing to your laboratory or a gigantic space laser with which to threaten the world unless we come up with....ONE MILLION DOLLARS!!!

I resemble that remark.

James & Garion; you prove once again that humour (after prog) is the high water mark of human civilisation as we know it.

We don't let some waves or set backs destroy our holiday, do we?

I dont understand how nobody saw it coming, America sees even the faintest of tropical storms miles and miles away; i refuse to believe that nobody saw a tsunami that big coming....though i dont know, really , what could have been done to help shri lanka and thailand, what would we have said "A huge wave is coming to kill you...you're pretty much trapped on this island, so..don't say we did'nt warn you."
