All topics related to videos are posted in this topic Erik.

I don't know much of musical videos by prog bands, but I've seen some from the Floyds on the Pulse DVD.

Here is one that I particularly enjoy (aside from the Tool videos wich are always great and disturbingThumbs Up)

This is what we call controversial...
Sigur Ros - Vidrar ver til loftarasa http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I30H7mhfLe8&search=sigur%20ros

If anyone likes it then go and search for their other one. They're great.

I'm a little dispappointed with the amount of decidedly non-prog videos listed (even if all of the said artists were involved in making prog at some time).

Ah well, music videos weren't nearly so common in the 70's -- really popularised in the early 80s..  Since 'non-prog art rock' fare of the 80's is listed, my favourite video is Bowie's Ashes to Ashes CLICK (actually, I've seen Bowie listed under prog too elsewhere, though I'd say prog-related at best).

As for a band listed in these archives (under experimental/ post rock), I really like the Sigur Ros' Glósóli music video.  In fact I find all of their music videos   interesting... http://www.sigur-ros.co.uk/media/dldvideo.php

In prog-related, I enjoy Kate Bush's music videos.  Her "The Man with the Child in His Eyes" is a favourite.

Anyway, my favorite clip is Parabola by Tool, a real piece of art even if you don't like the music muchThumbs Up

I know it from the CD compilation Beatclub 1973, very exciting performance with that weird percussionist!

I should have added High Hopes, especially because of the Pulse DVD release, no coincidence it's charting so high!

i used to love peter gabriel's videos even before i was into prog, but now they don't click on me like they used to; when it come to music videos i much more preffer modern day prog related videos [radiohead's street spirit, muse's stockholm syndrome, anathema's pressure, even genesis' rendition of carpet crawlers - or is it peter gabriel's?] Embarrassed

A+ for high hopes Star

Iguana is one of my favourite animals... But I don't like the rest of the "I can't Dance" clip.

I really like Peter Gabriel clips (we're talking about the pictures, not about the music, aren't we?), so my vote will go for one of them... "Sledgehammer", I think. I always enjoy watching it.
