My partner tends to go for 'Presto' and beyond. Her favourite album is counterparts. She warmed to 'Vapour Trails' quicker than I did, but she is more of metal head at heart than I am. I prefer 'Hemispheres' to 'Grace under pressure'

My girlfriend loves Rush!
She's seen them more times than me..
They seem to have an enthusiastic female following in Brazil. Anyone who has seen the Rio DVD will have seen the weeping women desperate for a glimpse of Geddy's hunky frame Lock up your daughters, Rush are in town..
My girlfriend goes on the TNMS forum. She says that some fans are more like stalkers!! One young lady posted pictures of the inside Neil Pearts house when he was selling it. She found the estate agents website

I don't like IQ for the same reasons I don't like Triumvirat... They are like a watered down version of Genesis... And I'm not all that big of a Genesis fan.
I prefer John and Martin's other band... Jadis. Its more original and Garry Chandler looks really good in a tight black tee shirt... Yummy!

My wife likes Rush too -- ultimate test: She plays their music often, and of her own free will.
No Deus Ex Machina, Gentle Giant, or (God forbid!) Van Der Graaf Generator though.
She also quite likes Yes & Floyd, & some Genesis & ELP.
Cool chick....

My wife is a huge Rush fan. She's been to see them everytime with me.
We took our two boys this year. Granted she's not a member here, but
female Rush fans do exist.

It's always been around the other way for me, Ive dragged my poor partner to many concerts including Rush (a few years ago now) and he still can't get his head around prog. I played him IQ's Dark Matter a couple of months ago and he thought it was Rush!
