I chose refined progressive, but that should certainly include Meddle (but not OBC).

I can't vote, because my three most favourite albums are Animals (Roger Waters years), Wish You Were Here (Refined Progressive) and Piper (Psychedlic/whimsy (Syd's age))...

For me it's actually every period but the Gilmour years, which are pleasant but no more than that. IMHO Pink Floyd are one of those bands whose output has been consistently good over a long period of time. However, having to choose, I voted for the "refined progressive" years.

I love it all up to The Wall, but I like Syd's stuff the best. Pink Floyd may be my favorite band.

Well an ongoing thanks to all who voted in my first ever poll. I have to say I am absolutely amazed. Firstly because so many people who voted are so fond of the spacey era (as I classified it) which is my personal fave. Secondly, that no-one, to date, has voted for the period which encompassed "The Wall". Given the allegiance that many folks on here have to that said album it has been quite a revelation.
