A.C.T european "Silence" summer tour 2006

A.C.T., the now acclaimed AOR/ear-candy pop/metal-prog band with influences as various as Saga, Queen (mainly),TOTO, 70's prog (in their traditional "long one" track), Dream Theater and 60's pop, are back with an excellent new album entitled "Silence" (although it's all the contrary when you play it loud ! lol). Following the release of this album, they are currently touring in Europe but only seven dates were scheduled (see the bottom of the post) among which the 17th of july in Versailles, near Paris, a concert to which I will go. I will give you my impressions after the show. I am looking forward to see this show, I remember having seen them opening for Saga during these latter's Marathon tour and their musicianship was really amazing, I almost regretted they had to leave the stage to let Saga play.
