LC - No, I've never encountered that problem - but then again, I use MTron exclusively for recording - and if I need to record slider data (which would be probably never) I'd do it with the mouse and my DAW software...likewise with volume fades, etc.  The fact of the matter is this:  unlike synths, which were made for dwiddling knobs, on the Mellotron you'd dial up a patch and play the thing!  To the best of my recollection, the attack and release sliders didn't even exist on the OG keyboard.  Sure, you'd probably tweak the volume knob a bit.  Just dial up a patch and play the thing, buddy!  LOL

If so...do you use a midi controller with knobs and buttons and does it WORK?

I called m-audio and they said there has been a common problem with M-tron in that whenever you try to change anything outside of using the mouse on the atcual software, it freezes up...i.e. buttons, outside volume control and others..

Anyone having this problem not happen to them?
