I'm a firm believer in the philosophy of a ruling class. Especially since I rule.

1. Dream Theater
2. The Tangent
3. The Flower Kings
4. Pain of Salvation
5. Spock's Beard
I like a good mix of modern symphonic and prog metal. From the list I'll take PoS, but The Tangent is my second favorite project.

I like DT, but they aren't my fav band, this honour goes to...The Who, yep the greatest band ever. Close to them follows King Crimson (at least by now - my Top 5 is subject to constant changes)
I like DT, but don't like prog metal in general (except few bands). Out of these I'll pick up TOOL, though I like POS also. |

Definitely Pain Of Salvation!
They're heavy and melodic, the music is intense and fragile, and above all: these guys make really original albums!!

Riverside for me. I saw them live @ Arrow Rock Festival last weekend. They were superb, as good as on cd. Symphony X comes close after Riverside!!!
