Thanks, can you recommend any suitable software?

My DVD player (YAMADA) was supposed to play OGG files, well it said that on the box when I bought it.
I have since discovered that I have to update the firmware for it to do this, which I'm quite cabable of doing, if new firmware ever appears on their site!Angry

My MP3 player is a Samsung YP-U1. It says it supports OGG files and it does play it ok, it just doesn't seem to recognise the whole file, and the same thing happens with Audio Converter, which is the software I'm using to convert it.

Not sure.  I play OGGs all the time.  Not all MP3 players support OGG...I know my iRiver does; what do you have?  What are you using to convert the OGG to MP3?

And finally, where I can I get this IZZ concert file? Tongue

You could be right, thanks. It seems to me that there is some sort of gap in the file after the introduction as my MP3 player and Audio Converter both stop at the same place.

In case you didn't noticed, my guess was that the file was too large for the mp3 player to handle...

I guess you must change that...wait ¿you have a hole ogg file that is 2 hours long?... I don't know, maybe is too large for the mp3 thing to handle; man, you should cut that large ogg into little bits... or change it to mp3 and then cut it. Perhaps the OGG codec of the mp3 player is a bit old. But my guess would be that the file is too large for the mp3 player to handle.

I have an 2 hour Webcast of an IZZ concert in an OGG file. It all plays fine on Winamp but when I download it to my MP3 player (which is supposed to play OGG files) it only plays the first minute which is the DJs introduction, then stops.
I've tried converting it to MP3 but I only get the same bit.
Anyone know what's going on?
