I mean for the genre's to be focused on the individual songs, not so much each album.
Also, I really don't see what makes Darkside part of the "Space" label. It is 100% blues. Atom Heart Mother is symphonic, and folk. The Wall would be pop( but not mainstream). Hard Rock/ Heavy Metal is Sheep, The Nile Song, Young Lust.
Comon people, yall are putting these albums and songs into the wrong genres.

Um, Haven't you heard Another Brick in the Wall, Pt 2? It's soo metal even KoRn covered it! Seriously, yeah I have no clue when they were ever metal. As for my vote, DEFINITELY the space rock/psychedelic era....I love music that messes with your head.

I'm just curous as to what parts of WYWH you would define as electronic. There are plenty of synth parts, but the closest thing I cn think of to being electronic is Welcome to the Machine.

Avant Garde:
Saucerful Of Secrets, Ummagumma (studio), Piper At The Gates Of Dawn
Spacerock:
Meddle, Dark Side Of The Moon, Atom heart Mother, With You Were Here
Symphonic:
Wish You Were Here, Dark Side Of The Moon, Animals
Electronic:
Wish You Were Here
Progressive Rock/Pop:
The Wall
i voted for their avant garde stuff...
the other are so overplayed,
But their live blues jams are awesome!

Well I like Dark Side of the Moon, Animals, Wish You Were Here and The Wall a whole lot. I think High Hopes is one of their top songs clearly. I think I would say I like Pink Floyd's progressive era the best

Saucerful/Ummagumma/Atom Heart Mother/Meddle period is my favorite... so it's both space rock and avant.

I would have liked to see a "psych pop" option, as it's what they did with Barret. That era wasn't purely "space rock" (such a stupid term)

Psychedelic/Space Rock, but really the Space Rock era. They were Space Rock from Meddle - Wish You Were Here and Animals is still somewhat Space Rock. Those are my 4 favorite albums by them.

Only one i could class as heavy metal is The Nile Song.. |
They've got a few, The Nile Song being my favorite of all of them.
Young Lust
Sheep
One of These Days
Ibiza Bar
Careful With That Axe, Eugene
This genre wasn't explored to much by them, but when they did explore it they really made some interesting stuff. The Wall has more hard rock on there than any of thier other albums.
