Interesting points Dick, I've no idea what they're playing as trad jazz in Scotland, since, as you rightly surmised, I don't like jazz. To my untrained (jazz) ear "Third" sounds very similar to any jazz I have heard in the past. Undou

Please don't think me antagonistic, but I have tried a number of times to understand the attraction of this album, but to no avail. I first heard it around the time of its release, and thought it to be unstructured and boring. I bought it on CD
