Can't vote for any of them - I have been known to drink the odd bottle of Budweiser Budvar (ie not the Bud on the list) when nothing else is available, but in general I do not like lagers or stouts (I have drunk Guiness on one occasion - but that was in Ireland and it was the only drink the pub sold).

Today I did have a pint of this, draught, not out of a bottle:
very strange - a beer (or Ale if you insist on calling it such) brewed with added Stinging Nettles - it really does make your tongue tingle, but it is rather nice.

Right now I'm loving local (Pennsylvania, USA) breweries Victory and Troegs.
Nice clean pale ales, preferably with Cascade hops, are my favorite.

If Holandia was in this poll, I'll vote for it.

Though I haven't tasted the majority of these beers, and probably never will. I barely drink.

Actually I have been sampling a bunch of micro Breweries the last few years and here are some I really like:

JEREMIAH RED ALE
An Irish-style red ale with the strength of an English strong ale. Brewed with a secret blend of five imported specialty malts. Not too hoppy in order to emphasize the complex malt flavor and fruity aroma.

Style:
Alcohol:
Malt Varieties:

Bitterness (IBU):
Starting Gravity:
Hop Varieties:
Awards:

Strong Ale
7.3% by volume
2-row Pale, Munich, Belgian Crystal Malts, Chocolate
25
1.070
Northern Brewer
2nd Place Old Ales at 2005 California State Fair; Silver Medal Brown Ale at 2005 Los Angeles County Fair; Silver Medal Old Ale/Strong Ale at 2002 Los Angeles County Fair; Silver Medal Strong Ale at 1996 Great American Beer Festival

TATONKA STOUT
An Imperial Stout – a classic style so rich and flavorful that it was once the private beverage of Russian Czars. The profile is malty sweet, hop bitter roasted, full-bodied, alcoholic, and deliciously complex. Beer doesn’t get much more intense than this!

Style:
Alcohol:
Malt Varieties:

Bitterness (IBU):
Starting Gravity:
Hop Varieties:
Awards:

Imperial Stout
8.5% by volume
2-row Pale, Crystal Malts, Chocolate, Black, roasted Barley Oats, Brown Sugar, Molasses
60
1.068
Magnum, Centennial
Gold Medal Imperial Stout/Barley Wine at 2003 Los Angeles County Fair; Silver Medal Cask Foreign or Imperial Stout at 2000 Real Ale Festival

And then this one:Smile

Main Street Maibock – This is one of our very best selling beers and not surprisingly it won the Best All Around Brew at the 1999 Spectrum of Beers in Irvine, California. This is a full flavored lager with big rich malt flavor and balanced with Perle hops. These lagers are traditionally brewed in the dead of winter and aged until May, hence the name.

Mine's not listed here... it's Sam Adams' Cream Stout... closely followed by Boscos' German Alt.
Check out the Unsigned Bands section!

Of the ones listed, Guinness. I like stouts and porters and occasionally red ale.

Out of these, enjoy a drop of Corona - with a slice of lime naturally!
As for lager in general, my favourite, is a Canadian brew called Sleemers. I know of just one bar in the UK that sells it, located in Soho (London)
I head for this place every time I'm in London, simply to have a couple of pints.
Anyone else heard of or tried this beautiful beer??

From this list, I pick Stella, because when it comes to Irish Stout, I take Murphy's over Guinness, and Stella is a fabulous lager.

However, best beer ever goes to...

I know Atkingani, I am a member of the Dutch beer society PINT and every magazine features stories about INTERBREW, they try to destroy the smaller breweries with their puer capitalistic ideas, Marx was right Wink

This evening I enjoyed a Kriek (cherry) beer with 'abbey cheese', a great combination Approve

Certainly the Venezolan POLAR, Erik... it's very popular in Northern Brazil too (I made a little research via Mr. Google Embarrassed).

The Brazilian POLAR (now owned by Inbev) is produced in Southern Brazil and it's rarely seen as north as São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro.

BTW, INBEV is a huge company merging Belgian INTERBREW and Brazilian AMBEV... these guys are purchasing everything they can. Confused

We have the so-called "beer war" here between Brahma and Antarctica (not counting dozens of other brands: Skol, Polar, Cerva, Belco, Schincariol, Kaiser, Santa, Itaipava, etc). I like all of them!!! Wink
I love  ANTARTICA...but  POLAR is  the  same  OF VENEZUELA with  A BEAR over  an  ICEBERG?

I'm afraid only the name is the same, unless the Venezolan POLAR is also part of Ambev (just like Brazilian POLAR). Ambev seems to buy everything... Confused

Beck's gets my vote.  Guinness is far too bitter for my taste.  When I'm in the mood for a cheap drunk, I go with budweiser.
I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?
