Really hard to choose one... Uriah Heep was one of my first prog-rock band... so you know, I have a bigger sentiment to them, and this is my number two of Uriah Heep ( after "Look at yourself" ) that's why I prefer "Salisbury".

I never thought I'd choose Heep over Rooster, but when you take Heep's best album and pit it with Rooster's average album, it comes really close and a very slightedge for Salisbury
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

I love both albums and both bands, although URIAH HEEP have a large discography and success, while ATOMIC ROOSTER, after changing different line-ups in each album, split up in 1973 and reformed in 1980 for two mediocre releases.

Anyway my favourite is "Death Walks Behind You", a milestone in the dark-prog scene.

For me... I don't know! These album are extremely absolute masterpiece. And for you?

For always yours, Mandrakeroot.
