Even when acknowledging that Beat and 3 aren't as original/trailblazing as Discipline, I have to say Discipline is much more interesting and creative. I still like the others though.

Like um all as well.  Can't select one, although Beat is probably the weakest of the three, I still think there's some great cuts off it like Sartori in Tangier, NAJAM, Neurotica, and The Howler...the rest is fluff or overly Belewed.

All great my vote to discipline.
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive
Warning: Listening to jazz excessively can cause a laxative effect.

I always considered Discipline to be more red than Red...Red is more of a black

Red.....meaning Discipline of course! Blue and Yellow are both OK but some way behind.

These three are the only KC albums I don't like. The one I can stand better is Discipline, but still very far from my taste.

I love all the other KC's albums. Maybe my favourite prog band.

Beat and Përfect Pair are just mùere copies of Discipline
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword
