Radiohead are Neu! inspired (not sure which member does!!), and obviously Can and Crimso, you can hear the latters influence on Kid A, I'd even say they were influencd by Van der Graft's Still Life album, that sounds Radioheadish at times
Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden frontman), once said he had a discussion once with Jeremy Clarkson (British TV personality/Automotive Expert) and it turn out they both had the same Greenslade album so both seem to be influenced by Prog.
Jeremy Clarkson apperently has a copy of Camel's 'Snow Goose' album, and he also mentioned something about Barcley James Harvest.

I think Clarkson said the snow goose was his favourite album, I'm pretty sure.
I've got some pics with Robbie Williams wearing a Lamb lies down t-shirt if anyone's interested. I could host them if no one believes me.

Paul Mcartney, is a Jethro Tull and Split Enz fan; so much of an Enz fan infact Enz keyboardist Eddie Raynar toured as a session keyboardist on one of Mcartney's tours (in the late 1980s I think)

I can strangle a canary in a tin can and it would be really original, but that wouldn't save it from sounding like utter sh*t.

Although true that a portion of Rush's catalog is decidedly not "prog", their "prog period" could hold its own with similar periods of "true" prog bands such as Yes and Genesis.

He also tried to join Can at one point, and also the Sex Pistols tried to get Syd Barret to sing one of their albums, but Syd refused after all he was too far gone.
Mike Myers is a fan of Rush.

Yup, he namechecked them in "School Of Rock" too, while handing out CDs to the kids: "Pay close attention to the keyboard solo on 'Roundabout'."

Nick Lachey (98 degrees (yuck!) and ex-husband of Jessica Simpson) wears Yes shirts on their Newlywed MTV show sometimes.
