Fine tune the drums in mixdown. they are a bit too loud compared to the rest of the tracks. from a compositional stand point the drums sounded like marching band drums near the start of the song, If that wasn't the intent you might want to change it up a little. I think the music works well as an instrumental but if pressed I would say serious philosphical lyrics would be in order. After hearing it I feel like there is important life affecting issues that need to be explored further. Man, that's a bit wierd but its how I feel. As far as suggestions, the opening progression is good but I would shorten it a bit . Its a bit repetitive but that could also be helped by adding some other intrument or riff in like the 4th barr or something. It's a good progression though and its good enough to be reprised a few times throughout the song. Bringing it back in a few times might also help the cohesion of the song. Theres a lot of musical ideas in there and the song might benefit from having that cool opening progression tie them all together. Hope I didnt offend you at all. Peace. |

Hi guys,
My band had just wrote a short prog song for my final school project. I would love to hear some of your feedbacks regarding this song... We recorded soon after we finish it and sorry about the poor audio quality as I was recording just through a tape recorder. There are some musicianship flaws as it was recorded straight from the oven... http://www.purevolume.com/nottoosure After listening, I would like to gather some of your feedbacks as it requires me to do so for this project... You may try to answer some of the following qns... These feedbacks are crucial to me... I will be gladful if you take the time to give me feedbacks.. What are the things that needs to be fine tune? What sort of lyrics is more suitable for this kind of music? What are your point of views towards this song? How do you feel after listening to it? Some of your constructive suggestions? Your help will be greatly appreciate... OH oh.. Wish me luck too! =) Thanks guys, Pa peeps rocks! Z' Edited by jesperz |
