The best episode is where Burns builds a casino in Springfield...
Another good one is where the same story is repeated from the point of view of each simpson...it was cool. Although 'The Simpsons' is a great show, no animated series can compete with 'Family Guy'. |

I have only seen about 1/2 of the ones you've described ... unfortunately they seem to showing the same loop. Ones I love that haven't been mentioned ... 1) It's revealed that Homer's mother is still alive but had to run off. 2) Abu has numerous children 3) One in which Homer becomes so upset at the old rich guy not recogniising him ... he breaks into his house ... and the feller catches him only to say "Who the devil are you?" 4) Homer becomes a mason ... absolutely superb 5) Bart decaptitates Jebediah Springfiled ... and he and Homer nearly get lynched! But I still think around 80-90% of the ones I've seen are excellent ... |

When George Bush visits is the best. Him and Homer have a war. |

There is no way to pick one best episode. The ones where they go to Brazil (and Homer gets kidnapped) and the Japan episode (fighting seizure robots) are two of my favorites. |

I always liked the Three men and a comic book episode. The one where the family goes to Japan is great. The anime robot show that causes seizures

My personal favourites: 1. Homer goes to the chili festival and eats those "insanity peppers" by pouring wax into his mouth. Then he goes on an epic trip, and along the way encounters Jasper, who says "goo goo ga joob" (which I find absolutely hliarious, since I always thought he looked kinda like a walrus anyway), and who could forget the spirit guide coyote, played by Johnny Cash. That is one genius episode. 2. Homer discovers he can take a hit with a cannonball, and goes on tour with such acts as Sonic Youth, Smashing Pumpkins, Cypress Hill and Peter Frampton. I particualrly like the part where they shoot the giant pig balloon at homer, when they discover his "talent", and Peter Frampton claims, "your're damn right I'm going to be pissed off, I bought that pig at Pink Floyd's yard sale" 3. When they go to Duff Gardens and Lisa drinks the "water", then goes on a freaky trip and rips the heads off the little robot people. Then runs in front of the parade and says "I can see the music" then attacks the security guards. Then later she says "I am the Lizard Queen!" 4. When Homer becomes the pothead. "I just realized... I am the ow in the word now." 5. Treehouse of Horror in which Homer find a hammoc that makes clones. One of the clones is actually Peter Griffin, one has no face, one has glasses, one's too fat, one's too skinny, a bunch of those freeze frame things. |

but that one is my second fav Selma: So we propose changing our name from "Springfield" to "Seinfeld". Homer: Marge, do you respect my intelligence? Marge: [long pause] Yes. Homer: OK. [turns over] Wait a minute...why did it take you so long to say yes? Marge: [long pause] No reason. Homer: OK. [turns over] Wait a minute...are you humoring me? Marge: [long pause] [resigned] Yes. Homer: OK. [turns over] Wait a minute...that's bad! A STAR IS BURNS |

I love the "Lemon Tree" episode. Off subject a little, but I love on Family Guy when out of nowhere while Peter is talking, A giant Chicken comes up and tackles Peter and they go for minutes fighting eachother. Anyone else seen that Family Guy? |

There's one called (I think) 32 Short Films About Springfield, which starts with Bart and Milhouse standing on a bridge wondering about all the people in town - then there are lots of short snippets of all the minor characters, including a brilliant short song about Cleetus the slack jawed yokel and an interlude featuring the Bumble Bee guy which made me laugh longer and louder than I've ever done when not under the influence.
