Hard to call between 'Heaven and Hell' and 'Mob Rules'- the latter featured one of my all time favourite Sabbath songs in 'Sign Of The Southern Cross'- but 'Heaven and Hell' is more consistent and features some brilliant classics.

I agree.
It never quite worked for me.Don't get me wrong,I prefer Dio-era Rainbow to any era of Sabbath, but Sabbath and Dio,like chalk and cheese.

Sing me the song, I'm the singer .... rrrrrrroar!
(Sorry had an imaginary amp-stradling moment there)
Much less to chose from than the Ozzy years eh?

"Death to Utopia! Death to faith! Death to love! Death to hope?" thunders the 20th century. "Surrender, you pathetic dreamer.”
"No" replies the unhumbled optimist "You are only the present."

It's a 50/50 split for me, Heaven and Mob. I think if both albums were halved we would have one excellent post Ozzy album. Neon Knights, Children of the Sea, and the title track my favs on H,H while Turn up the Night, Voodoo and it's title track my favs on M,R.

100% agree! Great album and great track. In fact, all tracks are very strong, with the possible exception of "Walk Away", which is my least favourite.
