Get yourself a Line 6 Pod XT Pro - I bought one recently and can't get over the mind-bogglingly massive range of sounds you can get from that single box. I'm not saying Greg used one, but I'd bet you could get very close.

I'm trying to figure out how Greg Lake gets his tone. Does anyone know his amp settings or what effects he uses? Sounds simple but I can't get it right. Not too much distortion and kinda warm. Guitar Geek didn't have anything on Lake. Is their another guitar rig website that's worth-while? |
