Topic: Marillion - Anorak In The UK Live Posted: July 07 2006 at 12:58 |
Dear Doctor (k)NO(w): Hope you have it now and like it, if not... oh how sorry we can be... maybe you'll find someone who does... "KING"... it's so great here... nowhere better... and the audience taking over the lead in "GREAT ESCAPE" gives me chills... how about you now ????

This is a brilliant album and is probably the best live marillion album
to date the rawness of the mix directly captures the atmosphere present
at a concert.

I HAVEN`T LISTEN TO IT BUT I WANT TO...,
MARILLION IS ONE OF MY FAV BANDS AND I LOVE BOTH SIDES OF THE STORY BUT MY HEART REMAINS WITH FISH.
ANORAKNOPHOBIA IT`S A STRANGE ALBUM, VERY AMBIENT, ECLECTIC WITH GREAT TUNES BUT WITH "MARBLES" THEY PROVED TO THE WORLD THAT THEY ARE THE BEST HIDDEN BAND IN THE WORLD.

THERE`S TO MUCH MUSIC AND SO LITTLE TIME TO LISTEN TO IT
VIVA LA ARGENTINA PROGRESIVA!!!!!

I've not heard it, but I have a hunch that I'd take 'Made Again' over it, as I tend to prefer the earlier 'H' stuff...
...and MA is a double CD with the entire rendition of 'Brave' on it, beside superb versions of The Space, Afraid Of Sunlight and King...

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

I think this album extraordinary,it combines probably the best pieces
from the entire Hogarth-period of
Mariilion...energic,grand,animated,surprising from beginning to end...
what do you think of this live album?
