Today I've been temptated to buy La Bibbia (1971), from Il Rovescio della Medaglia, but, finally I've chosen Le Orme's Florian (1979). |

Try Uomo di Pezza (1972) or Felona e Sorona (1973)! You'll not be disappointed! |

I must say I agree. Nothing that PFM does gets tho the level of Darwin or Io Sono Nato Libero. I also think that Locanda must be on the list. |

Naturally the winning band is PFM. I love PFM. The first progressive song that I listen is a their song: E' Festa (Celebration in English version)

Le Orme are great and my favourite italian band, within Premiata Forneria Marconi! ...On my to-buy-list! These two bands are only the top of the iceberg of the italian scene... Edited by Andrea Cortese |

Even though I'm italian I've always prefered british prog and actually
don't know very well italian prog scene, anyway "Le Orme" have
something which gives me the same emotion of english bands: I said
emotions because in a more "celebral" compairing there's no match

PFM is my fave but it would have been nice to see a Maxophone listing. |
