Gave your stuff a listen.
There - Very good voice emulation! evocative of 50's-era Sci-Fi.
Left Right In the Middle - Interesting FX - a bit too atonal for me.
Odd Stgranger Even Stranger - Again very good voices.
Ride - This one I really like - difficult to say exactly why - It's got a scary sort of feel attached to it, like going through a haunted house or a worm hole.
Iconoclast - maybe 2001 A Space Odyssey. Ethereal.
Overall its a little too out there for my tastes, but I certainly applaude your efforts. You have a unique ability to coax unusual sounds from an instrument that most of us are using for melodic lines. I don't think I could begin to get those sounds from my minimoogs (I have both a real one & the Arturia version of the virtual one).
Actually its pretty good stuff.

	Hi Rick, I listened to your stuff too, but didn't get round to posting - till now Very strange sounds - I liked the one that sounded like whale song. I certainly can't make any of my synths sound like yours !! Reminded me overall of early horror/ scifi film soundtracks - Have you ever heard of a Hammond Novachord? I recently came accross this website: http://www.discretesynthesizers.com/Nova/intro.htm This has to be the earliest synth - 1937 !! - It was used for the music/fx for the outer limits - has interesting soundclips ! - some elements of your clips reminded me of the Nova All the best Martin

	Hello Rick! I checked out Left Right In The Middle, Odd Stranger and Shelf Life Of Clarity You obviously have access to some very interesting synths ... but I admit I am far from the biggest fan of this kind of spacey progressive electronic music ... In fact the closest band I enjoy (and even then I can't take too much at one sitting) is the late 60s duo Silver Apples ... so you can tell I can't get much out of the electronic soundscapes you have created ... but well done, nonetheless ... As for the lack of feedback ... this zone is pretty slow-moving and maybe particularly so during the Xmas period ... you may need to bump this thread from time to time ... I am sure that progressive electronic fans will have something to say about this ...

	I wouldn't mind getting some feedback concerning the electronic music I've been doing for about 25 years. It's done on an analog synth from the 70's that was customized to produce sounds that I have never heard anywhere else. Comparing it to anyone else's music is difficult, but you might put it in the same general area as Brian Eno's "On Land", some of Cluster's quirkier, playful material, Walter Carlos' "Timesteps", the more avant-garde stuff by Robert Rich.... My love of prog has found its way into my compositional process, in the way I orchestrate sounds. But don't expect any sonic similarities... Go to this site: www.wavemakers-synth.com There, you will find some MP3's containing excerpts from some pieces I did in the 90's. They are fairly representative of my work; some rhythmic, "musical" stuff, as well as some free-form, spacy material. The sound quality of these MP3's is a bit dull; if you can boost the high and low frequencies, it'll sound better... Rick
