Greg Lake is possibly one of the greatest singers in any band.
Although Wetton has a decent voice he is nothing on Lake. Lake by
a long shot.

Lake only because we're on the subject of whose voice fit KC's sound
better. I believe that Lake was an excellent choice for ITCOTCK and
ITWOP.

This is a difficult question as Lake was the first Vocalist in the band and he sang in the legendary In the Court of the King Crimson, but then Robert Fripp reformed the band soon after.
John Wetton was the vocalist for the band much longer and he participated in many albums until leaving soon after the release of Red. I think that Lake was the better choice but Wetton also suited the band’s sound.
