what is Boring?

Let's make this thread a little less boring. Pink Floyd and Genesis are so incredibly exciting that all of their wives need to take tranquillizers constantly because otherwise they can't cool down.

Right, that's clear then. Let's move on. Some exciting tracks about boredom, then. NutterAlert mentioned one, from the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band. Procol Harum made a great track about boredom too. It's being called: Boredom.

You know Philippe, if you don't like either classic prog (the post quoted) or modern prog (your posts in the metal-prog threads) or bands with female vocals (your post in the thread devoted to female vocals), you shouldn't post in progarchives anymore, that's my advice, but found another site with only indo-pakistano-psychedelo-experimental-electronic-kraut-rock bands.

Strange poll. And some strange posts. Neither, in my opinion, are boring although some individual songs may be a little soporific. So, I'm not going to vote.

Because both of those bands are among the finest prog bands ever for differant reasons, both provided key ingrediants that make up the very chemistry of progressive rock,  they are Titans  them and a few other bands  that I wont bother to name. 

You raised the question that didn`t need to be raised, my belief is if you find them boring you find prog in general as boring 

Thinking about it my ideal prog band would consist of Floyd  elements and Genesis elements  ...
