Late night is definitely the best time! I think prog works any time of day, but I don't like morning in general, so I voted for that.

I don't like music in the morning. My favorite time for music is at home, in the night hours.

Some mornings prog is a bit too much, I need something a bit lighter.
Only sometimes though. Mind you there's light prog and heavy prog, I
mean I can't listen to Tool in the morning, too intense.

I usually go to work on foot. It's a 30 minutes' walk and sometimes I listen to Tarkus, KE9 or something like that.
Curiously enough, my performance at work isn't very good lately...

Dang wish I lived that close to work- I have a 1/2 hour drive!

Morning, I don't really want to think about stuff in the morning--that might be one of my more folk-rock times. I listen to much of my prog in the evening to late at night--music for when I'm doing nothing but music (and sleeping).

In the morning I like to listen to some metal to wake up - not prog, as it's impossible to concentrate properly in the morning!
Prog is best at night, in the dark. At night I also like listening to atmospheric metal, or maybe electronica.

I cant listen to prog late at night if I'm trying to relax before going to bed. It makes me buzz too much - I am a bit wierd like that...
I love it in the morning - and listening to prog I find that Yes, more than any other band, really lifts me in the morning, especially Going for the One. I'm at my most miserable at this time, prog is just the tonic I need.

For me, the prog starts playing as my work day begins -- about 7:45am --
and then plays all day until about 6pm when my day ends. However, I rarely
will listen to music late at night. That's TV and sleep time for me.

Morning is for Neo Prog.
Afternoon is nothing or something symphonic.
Evening is Metall
Late Night is something like VDGG
(apparently I voted wrong....hmmm.)
