Great reviving this old thread!!
It can still be a positive impact on today's lowering forum standards.

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter keep our sand-castle virtues content to be a doer as well as a thinker, prefer lifting our pen rather than un-sheath our sword |

The first sentence is already funny.
Upon reading the reading the rest of it, wow, that is seriously one the funniest reviews I've seen in a while

I hope this thread doesn't die as it has been one the the best and most interesting for awhile. I just found it a week ago but spent a few hours reading the many pages. I laughed for a long time at the Steel Mill review. So I hope the thread keeps going but if not Thanks.

I know it's not PA, but this has to be one of my all-time favorite reviews: In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida played at 45 rpm

"Dear Mazhar, thank you for replying to our review offer, your devotion is quite remarkable. As PA is a world-wide organization, perhaps we can offer you an administrative position within our executive, say VP of Human Resources, since you clearly have a precondition to search far and wide without any qualms whatsover. Before we submit a formal application and fly you to New York , first class, you must first review every single progressive entry on our site. Minimum 50 words, clearly legible. Should you fail in this exercize , the secretary will disavow all knowledge of your actions. Good luck, Mazhar" Edited by tszirmay - March 22 2008 at 12:54 |

ARZACHEL — ArzachelReview by Sean Trane (Hugues Chantraine)SPECIAL COLLABORATOR Prog-Folk Specialist 3,5 stars really!! This could be seen as the first Egg album on Marijuana as the official Egg albums would be done on LSD . If I don't finish this review , it will be the fault of double U (also known as the evil Dubya) and his friends of "tolerance zero" knocking on my door because the terrorist I must be full of oil-mass destructing weapons hidden away behind the Mosque disguised as my garden shed . Sounds silly enough???? |
