Why should you be exempt from this rule?

well, look at our site sites who are still including many more entries daily than we are: they have no qualms in copy-pasting bios with given credit/source (like AllMusic). JMA has much fewer collabs than we do - don't know for MMA, though.

I just don't have the time to produce bios anymore (I must've written some 200, many of them unattributed) and if for historical bands, once written, it can be +/- permanent, for current bands, you'd have to rewrite their bios every 5 years, just to keep up.

TBH, I don't care in AB is in PA, soince they're already in JMA, but for PA's completeness' sake copy/pasting would do the trick.

There was an Atlantic Bridge entry added to Progfreak (now Awesome Prog) about a year or so afterwards, but no country appears to have been assigned to them, and no releases were added, so Mike would need to edit that to include the country of origin if you decide to evaluate.

Regarding a biography, if the text that Hugues has provided above isn't regarded as being sufficient, I could provide you with quite a reasonable biography for these guys within a few days if needed. I already found sufficient info to do this, I would just need a bit of time to sort it out and edit it into something useable.
With this guarantee I'll forward it to the team. Thank you for putting in the effort

With all due respect, we can't in all fairness evaluate this artist then. Even if there's little info to be found about the band itself you could still string together a very basic block of text talking about what they sound like or who the musicians were.

come on, now, I simply don't have time to start researching and make my own text

I've given the line-up directly copy/pasted from RYM and by clicking on the names you get the their past nd future musical endavours . This also gives you the link to AB's page's discography and track listing.
This should give you everything you need.
I mean, I could enter the band myself but I need the PA group's consent.

I could've given you the link to Discogs, but it will produce a text like
Early 70s UK jazz progressive rock band.
Born of a time when jazz musicians crossed in to the world of rock music, Atlantic Bridge was a quartet featuring Mike McNaught (piano, electric piano), Daryl Runswick (bass, bass guitar), Jim Philip (flute, soprano sax, tenor sax) & Mike Travis (drums). All four musicians were seasoned players on the London jazz circuit, but sought to expand their musical horizons.

if you go to our sister site JMA, you'll find (from Allmusic) :
An early British fusion band, Atlantic Bridge put out a self-titled instrumental album in 1970. While the skills of the players were impressive, it wasn't anything more than an average album, not nearly as experimental as fusion bands of the time such as Soft Machine, for instance. They didn't compromise their jazz roots, with Jim Philip's saxes and flute showing a decided John Coltrane influence. Chief arranger Mike McNaught's electric keyboard provided the most rock-oriented flavor. Covers of "MacArthur Park" and the Beatles' "Something" and "Dear Prudence" seemed emblematic of a desire to cross over to rock and pop listeners, though it should be noted that it was far less common for a jazz-rock band to interpret such material in 1970 than it would be in the years to come. Atlantic Bridge also put out a rare EP in 1971 that had more of a rock feel, one of its songs including female vocals. The LP, with two songs from the EP added as bonus tracks, was reissued by Get Back in 1999.

What else do you need, for crying out loud?? Confused

Hi,
Joyson's Tapestry of delight (book 1) of UK rock- 1963/1976 gives scarce datas only

"... Mike Travis played earlier with a band called Buzz and went to Gilgamesh..."

EP- 3 tracks issued in 1971 (Dawn)

Title : I can't lie to you

Tracks : I can't lie to you/Hilary Dickson/Childhood room

... Some of their tracks were issued on 'rather obscure/rare' compilations...

that's all

Surprised this possible entry escaped PA's attention that long, especially that their sole (and Self-titled) album was released on the prog label of Dawn and remastered on the Esoteric label

Mike McNaught (piano),
Jim Philip (flute, saxophone),
Mike Travis (drums)

just like stablemates Comus and Demon Fuzz, they also released an EP, which found its place on the Esoteric reissue

I'm not able to produce a bio for the entry, for I know nothing of the band.
