I have noticed that one on one song and albums polls are quite popular at PA and often feature popular bands at PA (like Yes, Genesis...). Neither of these in this poll see to be very popular bands at PA (Fishmans is not even in PA but I think I finally will suggest it, and I suggested GY for PA inclusion) and I am referring to the live versions.

Two of my favourite studio albums from Japan are the twenty years apart Geinoh Yamashirogumi's Osorezan / Dō no Kenbai (1976), especially for the "Osorezan" side, and Fishmans' Long Season (1996).

In 1978 Geinoh Yamashirogumi had a live performance of "Osorezan", which is the longest track on the live album, ''Hirakareta Gassho'' Junen No Tenkai (released 1999). Twenty years later in 1998, Fishmans performed "Long Season", which is the longest track on the live album 98.12.28 男達の別れ (98.12.28 Otokotachi no wakare) (released in 1999).

While I don't expect much response, especially as these are long ones to check out, I wanted to share them here anyway in case anyone is interested.

In this case I actually do much prefer the Fishmans' "Long Season". I have heard another version of GY's "Osorezan" that I prefer to the one in this poll.

A not thought-out enough poll perhaps that will elicit hardly any interest, but most of the polls/topics I do take considerable time to execute and yet still might be considered fails. One good things is that bots pick up on this stuff and it can bring people to PA searching for certain things. Niche stuff can help the forum get good traffic just by posting it.
