We would like to ask to review new prog-release. This release - EP-album titled "As Smoke is Driven Away" by atmospheric/avantprog project Compassionizer including only one epic piece of music - is the first experience of Compassionizer with a “large form”; previously the project did not have 20-minute tracks. Stylistically, Compassionizer continues to develop the genre invented by the project – “Melodic Atmospheric World Avant Music”. The sound is based on atmospheric keys, clarinets and bass clarinets, guitars and non-trivial percussion rhythms and instruments. Odd time signatures, polyphony, catchy and strange melodies, unpredictable thematic development, enchanting atmosphere, feeling of compassion and love for all things…
