Same here. Dionne's versions are my go to version in nine or at least eight out of ten times. A lot of his compostions and arrangements excite me much like a Gentle Giant-song does, but I can't play Gentle Giant in the background while having friends or family over for dinner etc, so thank heavens for Bacharach/David wondrously complex easy listening. Whatever I'm a fan of, I usually got some obscure deep cut-favorites, but in this regard I actually think most of the the hits are among the strongest, and If I were to make a top 20, it would look something like:
