A friend of mine who lives in the USA posted something on Facebook about Reyna and I had no idea what is was about. Still don't.

This is quite a soap opera, reminiscent of kids fighting in the playground. Both sides need to grow up, but it sucks to be Gio Reyna.

That's ridiculous, letting a soccer mom be a bully because he wasn't getting enough playing time and sulked. She's going to hurt his chances of getting picked at all for the national team.

Hi,

The saddest thing I have ever seen and the media taking it for a ride ... that is destructive and ridiculous.

An incident that was that long ago, and obviously has been forgiven, and the two folks are married and have 4 children ... it's a wow that anyone would think that the "kick" was not resolved or worked on over the years, specially when the folks are still together.

Saddest of all is a mommy screaming for her kid. Like he was tearing up his team and league with goals and abilities and then complaining that he did not play enough in the WC ... in the end, that's going to hurt that kid even more, because expectations are going up and he will have to play hurt and worsen his conditions physically.

In the end, it feels like US Soccer is run by mentally retarded, uneducated and a bunch of idiots that have to rely on the crass of the media to get their own vendetta around ... and the players? Oh well, who cares?

Greg B. in my book is not a bad coach. But he is not a good one, or should I say great one. He does not deserve to do this a 2nd time. His inability to get stronger by playing more European teams cost him the Netherlands game, where a very knowledgeable coach made Greg B. not look very good, and of course, with the issue on the bench with at least one player, it makes you wonder how much more was hidden that did not surface because it was "locker room stuff".

I wish Gio the best, but I think his career is going to take a bad turn ... I don't think he can become the great player that he thinks he can be ... until we see the results, which have been minimal. Only those results will help him ... but I think that we have "damaged goods" here, and in the end the curse of the maliciousness with which all this was done is going to hurt the US team even more ... I no longer expect the USA to do well in the next WC, because I think there will be some serious issues with the youngsters in the team that were not selected. The US Soccer Federation should make it clear ... that only players that are TOPS in their team get a chance to come ... and if they are not listed "at the top" they should not come, and Gio, for all intents and purposes, would not have come due to injuries and slow turning around in Germany!

It's a huge mess ... and a disappointing one. We needed a better roadway to make sure we were all there at the same time and place, and instead, we throw rocks, mudslides and crap on the road to the next WC. I would like, honestly, to ban those folks from US Soccer permanently! It's the only solution!

Music is not just for listening ... it is for LIVING ... you got to feel it to know what's it about! Not being told!
