I like it. The part with the bending before the bass solo at minute 2 sounds a bit too improvised, but it's few seconds only, so it's not a big problem.
I wonder what the signature is, I've been unable to count it.

There may be similarities with some Oldfield, but it's your original. It doesn't sound like a clone to me.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

Back in the 90s, my dad went through a massive folk/ singer-songwriter phase. So I've grown up hearing a good bit of Seafaring songs, he also plays a lovely sounding Takamine 12 String. The guitar is thin sounding (I assume that was intentional).

I've got mixed opinions on the rythm sections. Normally I wouldn't be a huge fan of something like this, but I think in this context it works quite well. This piece could fit in well perhaps on Five Miles out, or something like that.

Overall a well polished song that I quite enjoyed, and by all means, post it on here, that's what this part of the forum is for, isn't it?

Dear all,

I'm glad to present you my first compo in which I actually play the guitars. I didn't initially plan to post it here, however some people told me the music reminded them Mike Oldfield's folk pieces, so here it is...

Hope you'll like it:
