Wonderful to have you, James.   A seasoned & well-spoken man, indeed.

I started listening to Rush, Yes, Pink Floyd, ELP and such way back in the mid-70s.

That wasn't easy in Mississippi where everything seemed to be country & whining and bluegrass.

We had a good album rock station out of Jackson, Mississippi back in the day. WZZQ 102.9. They were pretty good until some ahole bought them and went country. There's a new classic rock station wearing out Steely Dan and Phil Collins.

I got a degree in computer science and have worked as a programmer and a systems administrator. I get along with technology and electronics. I've got a lot of old vinyl and I haven't even counted my CDs lately.

Now, semi-retired, I've got an elderly parent (94) I'm a caregiver for. I write and listen. Updated my stereo this year to a new Cambridge Audio system.

Lately, I've been exploring what are to me new bands like Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater and the Dear Hunter.

I couldn't tell you what my favorite group, album or song is. If you have ONE, you haven't listened to enough stuff.

There might have been things I missed
But don't be unkind
It don't mean I'm blind
