It's pretty rough to compile such a compilation of Opeth's work. The band would probably suggest "Advent" instead of "To Bid You Farewell" as their pick from Morningrise. However "To Bid You Farewell" is one of my favorite all-time songs by Opeth so I would love to see it get that sort of attention of a compilation! Personally, after seeing them so many times live and they played Advent, I would much rather see (live) / hear (on a comp.) anything else from Morningrise.  I am going to have to go ahead and be that annoying fan that always yells "BLACK ROSE IMMORTAL" from somewhere in the crowd. Now that would definately take half an album!

Great choices!!!

I think you should also put Face of Melinda (it's finale is one of my favorites!) and/ or Prologue

I got bored and decided to make my own opeth best of album designed to fit on 2 discs. It was tough but i managed to narrow it down to these tracks, each song flows well into each other, see what you think of my track selection and give it a rating!

Anything i missed? Anything that shouldnt have been on here?

2. The Drapery Falls
3. Windowpane
4. Forest of October
5. The Leper Affinity
