I think Tull's outfits on the "A" tour were pretty terrible, especially Eddie Jobson's!

Chris Squire, as already mentioned, is a serial offender.

I'd also add Thijs Van Leer

Dear Eetu,

Thank you for the ABBA photo. That was a very special
moment.

Wakeman DEFINTELY  ... when I saw him here in Oz on the 25th Anniversary Tour last tour he was wearing a blue satin cape decorated with planets and stars draped  over tight black leggings yikes!! But he played better than he looked ... Squire also looked pretty daggy ... he had squeezed into painfully  tight black leggings ... looked like a sack balanced on two overstuffed sausages

sorry guys ... perhaps its time for a makeover from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy ....

Perhaps it's a touchy subject, but I recall in the 70's a lot of people being
turned off to progressive bands merely because of their wardrobes, since
visual presentation was and is so overly important in rock music. In the US,
the attitude was often that real rockers wore black leather and tank tops,
and those British guys are a bunch of fairies, lumping prog and glam-rock in
the same basket. OK, it was dumb and unfair, but it must be admitted that
some proggers were somewhere in the outer fargonosphere of good taste.
Peter Gabriel was the most outlandish, but very interesting and original in
his surrealistic costumes. On the other hand (while intending no disrespect
toward their impeccable, influential playing), some Yes members made at
times a rather silly impression in their galactic pajamas, and Steve Hackett is
certainly quite special in that interstellar leisure suit. My nomination would
go to Chris Squire, but I'm sure there are other suggestions.
