This album is rated pretty low. And I don't think it's that bad. I'm listening to the track Miwaukee and I'm liking it. |

Unnecessary Filler: Pawn Hearts is far from the lowest rated. One of the highest rated on the site. I heard the album one time earlier this month, and Peter Hamill is far from annoying. I even gave it 5 stars.

Don't tell anyone, but I had to give Banco de Gaia a free plug as the co-producer of his albums is a close friend of mine.

I don't know much about Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso, but I'm a big fan of Banco de Gaia, even though the music is described as techno-trance on Wikipedia. Thankfully though, it doesn't anything like the techno-trance of Wishbone Ash.

I thought Rick Wakeman's 1991 collaboration with Norman Wisdom - "A World of Wisdom" - might be one of the lowest-rated albums on PA, but it's not even close with a rating of 2.5. I believe Rick Wakeman only made the album because Norman Wisdom was one of Rick's neighbours on the Isle of Man at the time. One thing's for sure, you won't find any mention of the album at Rick's Plaice.

I suggested that for inclusion a few years back and i think it went nowhere! Basically he is preaching with some prog music in the background.

Sea Of Tranquility recently did a round table on albums that they hate which seems appropriate for this thread. Plenty of sacred cows slayed and very funny:-

Honestly, you'd never guess it was Wishbone Ash if it didn't have their name on the album cover. This is just dreadful.... Wishbone Ash - Narcissus Nervosa |

Never heard of those albums before. Is it really the same band that made Argus?

Maybe they were Just Testing the loyalty of their fans, but those two awful trance albums were a very Strange Affair. The Time Was when Wishbone Ash used to be a pretty decent Bona Fide rock band, but it must have been a case of picking up the Bare Bones of their flagging career after those two disastrous dance albums.
