We should start a campaign to have Heaven & Earth re-enlisted on Spotify, although I have a strong feeling I'll be the only one campaigning for its return. Tongue

Yep.

Even Steve Howe doesn't like it, he says in the latest Prog that he thinks the sleeve is better than the album.

I never warmed up to the idea of having Fly from Here remixed and changing the vocals, for I liked the original one and loved Benoit's work on it. But I do think Heaven and Earth would benefin well enough with such treatment.

^ Glass Hammer are class , nothing like the meek watered down thing now masquerading as Yes.

I want it to be back too. I honestly dont understand the hate for it, i remember not really minding it when i first heard it.

The problem I have is that the band just seem like a shell of their former selves now. Most of the key members have moved on or passed away, we've got one of the singers from Glass Hammer on vocals now, and the whole thing doesn't feel like Yes anymore. It vaguely sounds like Yes, sure, but something crucial is just missing from the equation. If anything, they sound more like a 1990's/2000's prog revival band now, and to be frank, I absolutely hate most of those bands. Glass Hammer, Simon Says, etc. I just never hear any uniqueness in those kinds of groups.

Yeah, I know this post is really negative; Heaven & Earth just kinda brings that out in me whenever I talk about it. I'm not saying any of this to be a condescending a****le, it's just genuinely how I feel about the current Yes enterprise.

Take me down, to the underground
Won't you take me down, to the underground
Why oh why, there is no light
And if I can't sleep, can you hold my life

I don't always agree with Steve, but I will regarding this topic!!  LOL

This is a photo my friend took of Howe, playing his Les Paul Jr. during "Ritual" (Solo Albums tour).  I sure miss those days!!

There are several Yes albums missings from the post Big Generator era, at least over here (Argentina).
I shook my head and smiled a whisper knowing all about the place

My guess is that it didn't meet the standards for heaven and even Earth found it too awful for comfort so now it can only be found in hell where it is played for eternity as the soundtrack! hehe

I would guess it's a licensing issue.

The full album is on YouTube at the moment, but not from an official source.

It's normally due to copyright/ownership issues.

Nah, just kidding. But it's definitely my least favorite Yes album by a long shot
