Journey of the Passengers. An Independent film about Big Big Train. Released 20th August 2021.

Join us for an inside look at the band Big Big Train on their 2019 UK Grand Tour; this is a feature length documentary made by an independent group about a unique event – the band’s first full UK tour and the passengers who made it happen.

Our film features interviews with Greg Spawton from the band as well as interviews with 28 passengers from all around the world. Plus, never seen before concert footage from 5 of the 6 shows on the tour (no Hackney – please buy the official Blu Ray if you want to watch this show) as well as rehearsal footage from Real World Studios and more than a few surprises along the way.

With a total running time of 132 minutes we have decided to release the film in 6 weekly episodes starting on August 20th. Two versions will be available – we always wanted this film to be freely available for all to see and a free version will be available on YouTube in HD to watch online.

For those that would like a higher quality product we will release a premium 4K version on Vimeo (100% ad free) which you can watch online or download and burn to disc if you wish. We can confirm that 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this version will be given to the band to support them continuing to produce music.

Three years in the making this film has been a labour of love from the start. It was meant to be a way to document a moment in time, a one-of-a-kind interaction between a band and their fans and a part of the story that usually does not make it into official films about music. I hope that you enjoy our film.

Philip Briddon, Producer.

I've been lucky enough to have a preview viewing and am happy to report that it's a very interesting watch and a very well made film. I am looking forward to this being released in the summer.

Greg Spawton, Big Big Train.

Let’s get this train on the road…

The first part of the film is now available to view free on YouTube
