The first Canadian poll without Neil Young in my Top 10. Unhappy

I knew Rush would win, but almost everyone has voted by now anyway, so at least I won't harm their chances of winning. Tongue

One of the disconcerting things about forums for me can be that unlike face-to-face conversations, a comment might be responded to three years later as if no time has elapsed.

One might get tricky by asking people to vote for their second favourite.  The only of those I have heard in full that I recall is Rush's (I had a housemate in the 90s at Whistler -- a ski resort area -- who was a major Rush head).  I would like to hear Joni Mitchell's.

Were it not for the hideous cover artwork, Saga's Heads or Tales would have been the album that catapulted them to worldwide domination!

Not surprising Rush is getting all the votes..it is a prog site and most who voted for it were probably  teenagers when the lp came out and Rush were like gods to them.
Wink

You say that, and yet over five polls in this series so far, I think this is the first where Rush are leading, so it does not go without saying that because this is PA, Rush will win. I think this is the first time I have voted for Rush in this series of polls. And it will probably be the last, too…. 🤔

Surprisingly, this is the first CCR poll that Rush has won so far. Shocked

I Went For What I Know Big smile (one of the best live album evah!!!!)
Steppenwolf's Live album is also excellent, BTW.
Composite, Farewell & World Anthem were very good too.

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword
