Kate Bush - The kick inside

Now this is a surprising list! I'd have thought I may be the only one here who knows that Lift album (it has some good stuff but I wouldn't have put it up there, anyway it's nice to see it mentioned). Some more great stuff that didn't make my list but surely would have without my absolute determination to cut at 10, such as Kate Bush, Eloy, Bubu, Grobschnitt - and some stuff I don't know myself (Iman, Mona Lisa) that I may check just based on the fact that it appears on this big fun list.

...actually I edited my list to put Bubu in, which in my system has the wrong year associated with it.

Thanks Lewian! The Lift album has a special place in my heart with the Meeresfahrt suite and Tagesreise as highlights. 1978 was a good year for music in both Germanys.

probably true Smile

the album featured the entire line up of Colosseum II (Jon Hiseman , Gary Moore , John Mole and Don Airey) plus Julian Lloyd Webber (Cello) , Rod Argent and Barbara Thompson (Sax) . Some strong prog credentials there!

Nice to be remembered. And that's truly a perfect masterpiece of an album (They have quite I think)
