10 ounces of Mozarts skill vs 10 procent of Bezos

I’d probably take the money and start a fire. 20 million makes a fine bonfire and would most likely get a conversation going about the meaning of dough and why it is that we keep doing evil and entirely monstruous stuff in it’s name. Should be interesting methinks.

If Mozart was alive today he would have his attention on the pulse of the music scene and probably reinvent it somehow. Just look at bands like Black Midi who are fresh out of high school and conquering the world with only two albums. There is still money to be made in music but only for a few who have both the musical talent and the ability to capitalize on it. And BTW there is nothing wrong with making music as a hobby. Not all music needs to be about $$$.

That was my point. Better to play music for pleasure than money. I will check out Black Midi. 8 reviews for two albums. Yeah, conquering the world, just like Mozart would if he were alive today.

Like Floyd said "...And I think I need a lear jet". Musical talent usually gets you nowhere anymore. Look at Allan Holdsworth. Best guitar player ever and his family had trouble paying for his funeral. Check out the thousands of musical youtuber's. Are they going anywhere?
